Women's football attendances pass one million in 2024

The total participation for both the Ladies' Super Association and the Ladies' Title has passed 1,000,000 for the 2023-24 season.

The achievement was reached during the end of the week's round of installations, which included Precious stone Castle's advancement to the WSL.

In Spring, the past WSL participation record of 689,297 was broken with 36 games still to play.

"This season has been one to recall for such countless reasons," said Nikki Doucet, CEO of the two associations.

"Outperforming 1,000,000 in participation across the Barclays Ladies' Super Association and Barclays Ladies' Title truly says a lot about the interest in ladies' football in this country.

"This is just the start of our excursion, and we're so eager to see these records ideally be broken endlessly time again in the years to come as our game keeps on developing."

Bigger WSL swarms are becoming normal with an expanded number of games this season played at arenas utilized by clubs' men's sides.

Each WSL group other than West Ham has played somewhere around one game at their primary arena this season.

Stockpile set another participation record for a solitary installation with 60,160 tickets sold for their apparatus against Manchester Joined at Emirates Arena in February.
