Man United 'make £51m bid' for Real Madrid target as defender set to join rivals
The latest Manchester United transfer rumours centre around potential moves for two new centre-backs.
United have already been linked with several potential new signings ahead of the summer transfer window. The Reds will officially be able to sign new players from June 14 and there are rumours that this summer could be a busy one if the transfer rumours are accurate.
Erik ten Hag's future as United manager remains uncertain with speculation that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineo Group could make a change. Despite this, rumours are continuing to swirl claiming that United could make several new signings before the next Premier League season gets underway in August.
According to Spanish news outlet Marca, United have submitted a bid to sign Lille defender Leny Yoro. The Reds have been credited with an interest in signing Yoro for several weeks but now it seems a move could be edging closer.
The report claims that United have made an offer worth €60 million (£51 million) in an attempt to bring Yoro to Old Trafford. Yoro has also been linked with Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain, while the report states that Real Madrid also remain determined to beat United to the signing of Yoro this summer.
Elsewhere, United reportedly made an attempt to try and sign Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham. The centre-back's contract at Craven Cottage is set to expire at the end of this month, and he will be available to sign for a new club on a free transfer.
According to the Daily Mail, United are set to lose out on signing Adarabioyo to Chelsea. The report states that the Reds offered a "contract proposal" to Adarabioyo in an effort to sign him.
However, it seems that the efforts will lead to nothing with Adarabioyo reportedly set to sign for Chelsea instead. It has been stated that the centre-back has already had a medical with the Stamford Bridge club and is edging closer to completing a free transfer.
