WHAT ARE THE STADIUMS FOR EURO 2024? WHAT STADIUM WILL HOST THE FINAL? WHAT STADIUM HOSTS THE OPENING GAME?

With Euro 2024 fast approaching, it is time to take a look at the incredible stadiums that will play host to the best teams in Europe this summer. The tournament will be held across 10 world-class stadiums based in 10 cities, so sit back and relax while we take a look at the venues for Euro 2024, with England set for trips to Arena AufSchalke, Frankfurt Arena and Cologne Stadium.

A major international tournament will be played exclusively on German soil for the first time in 18 years when Euro 2024 gets underway later this month.

From the iconic Zinedine Zidane headbutt to the sight of Neville Neville in Baden-Baden, there was a lot to love about the 2006 World Cup.

Euro 2024 is sure to offer up its own selection of moments, goals and memorable matches, but one thing that will not change is the standard of Germany's stadia.

With passionate fans, unique designs and fairly priced food and drink, supporters will be in for a treat this summer.

The tournament will take place across 10 world-class stadiums based in 10 cities, so sit back and relax while we take a look at the venues for Euro 2024.

The tournament will get underway on June 14 at the 67,000-capacity Allianz Arena, with hosts Germany set to welcome Scotland to the home of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Its famous multi-diamond pattern exterior is one of the most recognisable sights in European football, and the ground hosted six 2006 World Cup matches as well as four Euro 2020 fixtures.

Chelsea fans will have happy memories of the Allianz Arena following their UEFA Champions League final triumph at the stadium in 2012.

The ground will host six matches in total, including one of the semi-finals on July 9.

The Euro 2024 final will be held at The Olympiastadion Berlin, one of Germany's most historic venues.

It has been home to some of the most famous moments in the history of sport, from that shocking Zidane headbutt in 2006 to the inspirational triumph of Olympian Jesse Owens 70 years earlier.

Now the heroes of today will have their chance to write their names into the history books, with the 71,000-seater ground set to host six games this summer.

England will get their campaign underway at the 50,000-capacity Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen.

The home of German club Schalke does not hold happy memories for fans of The Three Lions, though.

It is where Portugal dumped England out of the 2006 World Cup on penalties, but travelling fans will be hoping for better fortune when they play Serbia on the June 16.

England supporters will then head to the Frankfurt Arena, home of Eintracht Frankfurt, where they will face Denmark.

The 47,000-seater ground was built in 1925 and will be the venue for five Euro 2024 fixtures.

Next up is a trip to the River Rhine and the Cologne Stadium for their final group game against Slovenia.

Home of FC Koln, the ground can hold 43,000 people and has also hosted American football, ice hockey and music concerts.

With its deafening Yellow Wall stand, the Westfalenstadion is one of the loudest football grounds in all of Europe.

Home of Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund, it holds 62,000 people and will host six fixtures at Euro 2024, including a semi-final on the July 10.

Fortuna Dusseldorf's Dusseldorf Arena can hold 47,000 people and will welcome fans for five fixtures during the tournament.

Hamburger SV's Volksparkstadion was first opened in 1953 before receiving a facelift in 2000.

It will host five Euro 2024 fixtures, with enough space for 49,000 fans to watch on.

The Stuttgart Arena is no stranger to a big occasion, having hosted the 1998 Champions League final as well as games at the 1974 and 2006 World Cups. The home of VfB Stuttgart will be the venue for five Euro 2024 matches, starting with Slovenia v Denmark on June 16.

Last but not least, Leipzig Stadium will host four Euro 2024 matches, including an exciting clash between Netherlands and France.
